Ms Maya Bundt studied environmental sciences at the University of Bayreuth and received her doctorate in soil physics from the ETH Zurich. She started her career as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. Since 2003 she has held various management positions at the reinsurance group Swiss Re. Currently, she is Head of Cyber & Digital Solutions and is responsible for the development of the global cyber market strategy and the implementation of global cyber insurance solutions.
Ms Maya Bundt is a member of the "Global Future Councils for the Digital Economy and Society" of the World Economic Forum. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Vailant Bank since 2017 and of various Swiss Re subsidiaries since 2015.
